It all started back in 1990. That’s when brothers Carlo and Jacopo Colombo decided to combine their computer science and business expertise to develop a software solution for a very specific need in the process manufacturing industry.
First introduced in the European market, Euroware was the company they started to meet the demand for automated technology tools capable of pushing products to market fast enough to meet this demand. The company name eventually changed to Selerant, (a derivative of “accelerate”) to reflect how they exclusively focused on developing innovative solutions capable of accelerating the formula-based product lifecycle, from idea to label.
Over the past 30 years, Selerant has grown into a company that today has an extensive portfolio of major global process industry brands that we're proud to call our customers.
As we expand our global reach, it’s important that our brand and its assets keep pace with that expansion.
That includes changes to our corporate brand and product families. Not only are we introducing a new set of logos, but we’re also fortifying and unifying our company and product messages.
We continue to build our reputation for being a highly responsive provider of software solutions designed to bring products to market faster, help manage compliance requirements, and close the gap in competitive supply chain management systems.
From idea to label, Selerant ensures compliance and facilitates innovation for the entirety of formula-based product lifecycle management. And our updated brand reflects this competitive difference.
With formulation at the core of all the industries we serve, our new parent logo to includes a graphic
that speaks to formulation. We took the old “e” and modified it to become the new formulation swirl
that more accurately reflects the solutions Selerant provides.
For years the Selerant brand promise was reflected in the "PLM and Compliance Solutions" tagline.
But as our core capabilities expanded we outgrew this message.
Today our tagline accurately represents how we enable and empower our clients to achieve
everything they require when manufacturing a formula-based product.
The goal for our new core product logos was to directly reflect and relate back to the Selerant parent brand.
We carried the formulation swirl throughout all the product logos and added taglines
to each product logo to indicate its core functionality.
