EcodEX™ has been awarded the internationally recognized environmental certificate ISO 14040-14044 by CSQA, an accredited international certification body.  EcodEX follows a rigorous assessment of all environmental aspects of food products-- from agriculture to production through to recycling.		  

 

Industry Organizations

Selerant is an active member of The Sustainability Consortium, promoted by Arizona State University and the University of Arkansas.  

The Sustainability Consortium is developing a standardized framework for the communication of sustainability-related information throughout the product value chain.  The framework, called the Sustainability Measurement and Reporting System (SMRS), serves as a global platform for companies to measure and report on product sustainability.  It enables rigorous product level Life Cycle Assessments to be done at a fraction of today's time and cost, and provides a platform for sustainability-related data sharing across the supply chain.

Selerant also follows the European Food Sustainable Consumption and Production Round Table.

 

PAS 2050

EcodEX follows the PAS2050 reporting specification, published by the BSI, the National Standards Body of the UK.  The PAS 2050 is publicly available specification for assessing product lifecycle GHG emissions.
