DevEX HPC Product Lifecycle Management Revolutionizes New Product and Introduction for Home and Consumer Products

New York, November 14, 2012

Selerant (www.selerant.com) announces today a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation specifically created for the Home and Consumer Products industry, DevEX HPC.

“The biggest issue many home and consumer product manufacturers face right now is the lack of discipline and standardization throughout the product development stage.”  Carlo Colombo, Selerant CEO goes on to explain, “Current systems require manual entry which results in increased cost and delays to market due to  resource misallocation, duplications, errors.”

DevEX HPC is a web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system with an express implementation specifically designed for the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry.  DevEX HPC allows these corporations to establish best practice discipline and nearly eliminate the need to rework products, expediting time-to-market instead of delaying it.

Real time updates and web-based access enables team members to collaborate more effectively, instantly sharing testing results, product requirements, packaging specifications, formulas, and product validation through a secured login with role-based security.

Selerant Expands Global Food Regulatory Database Services - Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Selerant releases database for contaminants, pesticides and drug residues for China, Taiwan, India, US and Europe

Milan, June 5, 2012

Selerant (www.selerant.com) announces today further expansion of its Food Regulatory Databases. Selerant initially released a Food Additives database for China, Europe, North America and Codex Standards, including the Free online database for China Additives (www.selerant.com/main/cfa ). The data are now including maximum residue limits for contaminants, pesticides and drug residues for the same countries.

Food contaminants and residues are undesirable substances in food originating from environmental contamination, production processes, packaging or even transport and handling. In addition to the impact on quality of food, contaminants may imply health and safety risks and should be limited to maximum residue levels as defined by the legislation.

In addition, Selerant is expanding the content of its contaminant regulatory database by incorporating India as a market covered by our monitoring services. The database contains a full dataset of the limits included in the INDIAN FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS REGULATIONS 2011, thanks to the support of the honored Dr. V. Prakash, Chair, Nutritionals and Nutraceuticals Panel, FSSAI, Govt. of India, for data collection and validation processes.

“We have a tight roadmap within our RSA team because our global customers demand increasing coverage to support their compliance processes” says Nicola Colombo, Selerant CSO, “ Thanks to the Food Compliance Cloud™ platform we have developed recently, we can facilitate food safety and regulatory compliance to targeted markets, from ingredients sourcing to the finished product requirements (including packaging).”

Selerant's new approach to food safety and regulatory compliance will be presented during a webinar featuring Dr. Pingfan Rao on Wednesday, June 13, 9am EDT/4pm CET.  View more information or register for the webinar at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/575051729.
